Hello~

My two sons are working on their Radio Merit Badge for Boy Scout. One of the requirements is to visit a radio station. Then Discuss what types of equipment you saw in use, how it was used, what types of licenses are required to operate and maintain the equipment, and the purpose of the station.

Would one of your members be willing to send an hour or so with my and boys we live in Redmond ?

Thanks

Paul,

I was using the K3 and the QRO 2500 amp at around 1200 watts. My antenna is an Inverted-L with a 110 foot vertical section and a 55 foot horizontal section and around 100 buried radials. I use the same antenna for transmitting and receiving.
